I read the Sydney Morning Herald on-line report that Qantas is being pressured to salute veterans and say, “Thank you for your service, sir”.

Where did this crap originate.

I for one would be mortified if I received that sort of reception on boarding.

Mind you, I will happily accept a veterans’ discount card if they are handing them out.
